In blogging I like community a lot.

What mean is that, I don't just like to focus on SEO, but also socializing, directly communicating with people, building a following. In Digital Deepak's style - building a tribe. Though I am very bad at it, can't talk to people.

So, while choosing a comment platform for your blog, I recommend decide where the target audience or your followers will be hanging around. For many it is WordPress.com as their audience will be fellow bloggers, in many cases it is Facebook, in some case it is twitter.
