The Perfect Business Card

So a few days back this business card got pretty viral.

It's really cool and simple, what I call the perfect business card.

It gives so much information about the business and the person.

We got to know

  • her name
  • her Instagram id
  • her website
  • her email

And it's so consistent branding and so satisfying to watch.

This is an easy thing to do, but so many times we see weird email ids or Instagram user id. Seeing this kind of consistency is really satisfactory.

It doesn't just give information it also shows the vibe of her business (for the lack of a better word, or, maybe it can be called market positioning, I don't have a good vocab).

Here are some best moments:

This card is so awesome? People are geeking about it (Check out the comments):

She is selling baby bibs and meeting people in festivals and farmers' market places.

The meme got me here:

So, what does a perfect business card mean?

Glad you asked!

A perfect business card doesn't be exactly the same as her.

This one might be perfect for her business, but for many businesses, it can be a disaster.

She has an online store of baby bibs, she doesn't need to share a phone number or her location.

People can chat with her on Instagram or email her for some serious convo.

It suits her.

Also, the design, simplicity, creativity, casualness all goes with her branding vibes.

Her audience knows she is not a corporation. She is someone who loves designing awesome baby bibs, which she learned from her mother. This casualness and fun vibe suit her. And her business card reflects the same.

Your business card should inform what your customers need to know the most, plus share your business vibe.

Does your potential customer need a lot of convincing and explanation? Cool, share your phone number and get them on your phone call.

Do your potential customers need to visit your place? Great, share your address?

Does your business have the best presence on Instagram? Share the Instagram id on the business card.

Do you have a lot of products or services to showcase? Display your website prominently on your business card.

And don't forget the vibe! Your business card should have the same vibe as your business.
